Dayspring Home Educators and Cary Homeschoolers sponsor a science fair each spring. This coming year, the science fair will be held on:

8:15-8:45 Check-in and set-up
8:45-9:00 Welcome
9:00-10:00 Judging
10:00-10:45 Displays/Activities
10:45-11:15 Open to Public/Be at your Display
11:15-11:45 Awards/Recognition

The two types of projects/displays include:

  1. SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT: Students may choose the more typical competitive, scientific method-based science project where projects are looked at by judges and winning projects are eligible to go on to the Central Regional Science Fair and the NC state-level science fair. Please click here for display tips.

  2. SCIENCE DISPLAY: For those students who aren’t interested in the competitive route but would like a chance to display their research and/or science learning.  Only Cary Homeschoolers and Dayspring Home Educators students are eligible to present non-competitive Science Displays.
